In this workshop you'll develop a better relationship with food while creating a personalized diet through interactive lectures, food demos, recipes, and workbook. 4 week workshop - meets once a week for 1 hour Weekly Topics Week one: Unraveling the Myths of a Healthy Diet Prevent disease by becoming a savvy consumer, raise your consciousness about the perils of the Standard American Diet, get tips on how to source the best food, and how to translate those healthy food choices to your plate at every meal. Week two: Nutrition Essentials Learn the important role of protein, get the skinny on fats, conquer carbohydrate confusion, and master your personal balance of these macronutrients in your diet for optimal health and long-lasting energy. Week three:Allergies, Autoimmune, Leaky Gut, Oh Why? Unearth the myth of common food allergies including gluten, wheat, and dairy. Adjust your diet to reduce inflammation and digestive issues related to dis-ease. Week four: Eat to Beat Stress Discover the connection between stress and your diet, source food that calms your nervous system, and balance your metabolism, hormones and blood sugar to regulate daily mood.
