Nutritional Yeast



Increasing the nutritional value of the food we eat is important to me. Nutritional yeast is an easy and delicious way to do this. Nutritional yeast is an excellent source of protein and vitamins, especially B-complex vitamins, and it is a complete protein. I love that it is a complete protein! It is also free of sugar, dairy, and gluten. I personally consume it because of the vitamin-B content, and great flavor. It's better than cheese popcorn, in flavor and value.


Nutritional yeast is a popular vegan condiment. Nutritional yeast has a strong flavor that some people describe as nutty, cheesy, or creamy, so it is popular cheese substitutes. I use it in dairy-free recipes in place of cheese. Nutritional yeast is not alive and does not have anything to do with brewer’s yeast, torula yeast, bakers’ yeast, or candida. It's definitely worth giving it a sprinkle.
