Fast mimicking

I did it! I did a five day reset! Ending the Monday before Thanksgiving.. I very much enjoyed holiday food and wine this past weekend, and at this point I can comfortably say it’s sustained weight loss and increased energy. I’m talking inches!

I’m a big believer in the power of circadian fasting in a regular basis and fast mimicking as needed.

I’ve done fast mimicking before, using specific quantities, combinations, and timing of food and supplements. I really love the results, but have never had results quite as good as using this.

The science behind Prolon is that it provides the right macro and micronutrients that nourish the body but are not recognized as food, so a fasting state is achievable and maintainable for 5 days.

As the science of wellness is leading towards using autophagy as a way to clean out damaged cells, in order to regenerate newer, healthier cells. Researchers are finding fasting is the most effective way to trigger autophagy.

It wasn’t easy, but it was so worth it. It also provided the mental space for cleansing the mind and heart.

In the days that followed the fast, it seemed to me that I really did feel far better than I was doing before. It helped me to be far more mindful of sugar and food choices far afterward. That alone, for me, is reason enough to do it again—which I plan to after the suggested interval time.
